Intel PC Build

Thread Starter
Hey there i was just wondering if there's anything wrong with this build. I have Custom build pc before but never touch intel since p4 era, recent build was a AMD as you can see below, anyway.
mMy dad ask me to build a pc for him since his old 775 pc is dying. His budget is around $400. this is what i got.
His just using for office work and light video editing/encoding, sound.

Corsair 4GB (2x2GB)
dual channel
Intel Core i5 2500K
Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3

and re using my dads 450 thermaltake lite power PSU and my old case that i used for my p4 back in the 2002.

maybe look at 2 x 4GB of RAM, it will probably help in his video editing and encoding and its only light so the i5-2500k is fine smile.gif

you could even think about an Ivy bridge build if you dont mind a couple of weeks wait too

I agree with the these guys, for the price of 8GB RAM nowadays it's more worth it to get than 4GB.
