G.SKILL Valued 2x4gb work with z77?

Thread Starter
Bought these for an i3 build a few months back haven't even opened them yet as I am waiting for Ivy bridge and z77 boards. Question is can I use these with an i5, z77 board for a few months. I do plan on overclocking the cpu. I just hope I'm not stuck with some paper weight. Thanks again OCN.

These are the sticks.

The title says 8GB sticks.

The link points to 4GB sticks.

Both would work.
