Basically what you already have, but cheaper. No reason to get an SSD bigger than 64GB. There will be no noticeable differences in games for the exception of loading times, and BF3 is mainly played for multiplayer, so loading times wont help you really.

It will be best to grab a dedicated sound card and some really nice headphones if he is a music lover or likes great sound when gaming. Look into the most commonly recommended audio products or create a thread in the audio section, they will be more help than me on that topic thumb.gif

Oh and FYI, memory speeds above 1600Mhz are not noticeable when gaming. Also, neither are CL7 and CL9 @1600Mhz.
