Just paint em if the colors bother you. There are plenty of guides around to paint fans.

I wouldn't want to have to paint fans after shelling out this much to be honest. But they seem to be perfect with the replacable cable and rubber mounts.

One of my ap-15's also makes the same noise. If I hold the cable a certain way, the noise disappears.

There was a thread a few months ago about this. It was some sort of fault and I think Scythe accepted an RMA on them. I'll try and find it again.

Of my seven GT AP-15's theres one that ticks, but only when its mounted horizontally. Haven't tried to lubricate it so perhaps that will fix it.

I have 6 1450 rpms on my ek radiator and I had the same issue. I have found that it takes loosening and tightening in sequence to get them to quit lol. I added o-rings under each fan and fixed it.basically one per screw to space the fans from the radiator surface.

Mine don't click, but when mounted vertically (blowing air horizontally) they are louder then installed horizontal. It's not much, but noticeable on an open bench.
