How long will my gpu last - Page 3

I'd suggest taking off the cooler and re seating it. Should be easy, just don't lose any screws.

@OP, How long have you had that thing? I hope thats 100F and not 100C.. I think you can slowly cook an egg now though.

Are you sure ? What brand is it ? I put an aftermarket cooler on my Gigabyte Radeon HD 4670 that I have in my Windows 8 Developer Preview test system. If you want to see how it looks you can click on the review link in my sig. It uses 3 slots, but the card is very cool, even with the fan at the lowest of the two settings, and is silent. It's an Arctic Cooling Accelero L2 Pro.

do you have HWmonitor installed?
I know my GTX 275 it would be at 75 degrees and my fans would only be at like 40-50%

so i got the Nvidia Ntune and it added an extra section in the Nvidia control pannel, from there i was able to create a graph and i did fan % vs Temp
So the hotter my card got the fans increased the rotations.

Maybe something to look into

Edit: just read OP has ATI lol i was thinking he had a 285 lol sorry
