chmod +x scriptname.run
sudo ./scriptname.run

When I first tried to run it I used sh, ./ worked though. I still think it's weird that I couldn't build the packages, oh well.
The tearing was really bad, I've never seen so much tearing before. Thank you! biggrin.gif

Now to figure out why Playonlinux isn't working. rolleyes.gif

Ok on Linux mint 13 i installed conky. I followed this (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SettingUpConky)

1. Sudo apt-get conky-all

then
2. Sudo apt-get curl lm-sensors hddtemp (terminal stated that lm-sensors and hddtemp were current version) Only installed curl

3. created a .conkyrc file in home folder and pasted in a conky script from here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=281865&highlight=conky)

Now when i go to terminal and run conky it states that its trying to run too many cpu's. I think the one i picked was set up for a dual core, i have a single core on this laptop.

Only thing i can see in the script about CPU is stating average samples. I might of not choose the right one or something.

EDIT:

Is this what you guys start with?

Under "TEXT" search for ${cpu cpux} where x >= 1 and delete all that are higher than 1.

Others could also be ${top cpu x} or any other variant.

You can find a list of variables; http://conky.sourceforge.net/variables.html
And a list of settings; http://conky.sourceforge.net/config_settings.html
