2500k - Need help with overclock

My current build is in my sig.

I'm running completely stable using LLC @ Lvl 5 and maximum voltage is about 1.320 V.

I wanted to switch to offset mode, however, and no matter what voltage I select, I cannot get it stable. I went as high as 1.390 V, but it would still fail in Prime95/blue screen. Also, my board only has a 6+1 power phase design; I suspect this is the culprit for the ridiculous vdroop under offset mode.

LLC cannot be enabled under offset mode on my motherboard.

Thanks guys.

I used an P8Z68-V LE for awhile--also 6+2 power phase, but it did do 25% LLC (normal/minimum) with an offset.

Can you disable C3/C6 states? (Core parking or something like that.) That is almost required on my board when using offset, or it sometimes won't even boot.

Thanks for being the only one to respond.

And, yes, I disabled all power saving features; I was able to boot to windows, but there was rounding error in prime95 approximately a minute from when I started it.
