TV Like a Dell U2312HM

Thread Starter
So after years of using cheap budget based TN panels i got myself 3 Dell U2312HM's for eyefinity as a birthday present from my girlfriend
And after i got them setup i could notice an extreme difference off the bat compared to my old Hannspree monitors. Well just today i decided to try a Blu-Ray on the middle monitor, and i was completly blown away with the quality. And now we both want to upgrade our current 42" Hannspree HDTV. So i was wondering if any of you out there know of a 42" or above HDTV with comparable quality? i know panasonic makes a IPS LED TV but our closest store (sears) didnt have any in stock to view.

Thanks for any suggestions!

All depends on budget, size, use....

the panel does not make the TV like it does in computer monitors as much.

Lets see, mainly will be using it for movies, i dont think i need 3D as 3D hurts my girlfriends eyes, so i can deal without it.
My budget would probably be around 1000 however if i could keep it lower it would be nice. It will see some PS3 use as well.
as for size, i would say around 42" to 55" would like to keep the TV lightweight so that it can be wall mounted unfortuntly i have
metal studs, so i dont like to put a huge weight on the wall.

Thanks!
