Is the EVGA superclocked a ref. card?

Yes it is, they just overclocked it slightly, you can do the same with the normal version and save the money. thumb.gif

Well there superclock was just in stock at EVGA but not anymore I missed it. Was just checking Im going to buy which ever I can get my hands on first.

Good idea, EVGA cards are really hard to grab right now, they're gone in Europe and we haven't seen them in stock again for over a week now, I was really lucky to grab one, couldn't wait for a 2nd one and just went with gigabyte. biggrin.gif

I picked one up from their site on Friday, though stock lasted a little longer. I only went with the SC+ over the vanilla, because I had 20 Evga bucks, and I would have bought the backplate anyway...

Yeah thats the plan. Im only going for one now, will get a second after I switch to Ivy bridge or SB depending on the price/performance ivy is vs. sb.

Yeah I am a big fan of the back plate. and Im probably going to put under water once I get my full round of upgrades under way, just running cpu under water now. Never did the 6970 because I was holding off on the 7970 to see what Nv. had to offer.

US site should have some hydro copper cards up later this week that already have backplates just FYI.

Stay tuned, should be this week maybe even tomorrow. If you have not seen one yet they look SWEET: http://www.evga.com/articles/00669/#GTX680HydroCopper the compression fittings even say EVGA in a goldish color.
