UPDATE
Dont let them tell you its for new customers only! I upgraded just now for that price through web checkout. By phone they said it was for new customers only, here is how it went down
I called verizon to order, the associate needed to confirm $49.99 was for upgrades too, she called two people (placed me on hold twice) and said her manager said its for new customers only. I politly mentioned the page online doesnt say that, only says 2yr price, not new customer, and she mentioned how it confused her too but couldnt do anything about it. I said thanks for your time and ended the call.......
I logged into my account, selected to upgrade my number, chose the HTC rezound @ $49.99, went through checkout and officially bought it for the sale price. They tax you on the full amount though, but still a lot cheaper, Thanks to california tax final price was $106.86
