Pook: if you look at my system specs, granted, some of my components are high end (case, PSU). But my monitor was only $200, and is an excellent widescreen 19" 5ms. And I'm using Sennheiser's PC165s headphones which have an excellent built-in USB sound card and these PC165s really rock - they have 360 degree surround sound. And the Seagate Barracudes were $95 a piece, $200 for 640 gigs that run in RAID 0 faster than a single Raptor!!
Space really isn't a problem - but its always nice.
I'm getting cheap headphones. I need something more compact than anything - so I can fit them in my pocket. Getting the cheap Koss ones that everyone seems to be going crazy over.

Probably gunna get a cheap 40GB drive as an external to backup stuff that I don't have hard copies of (pictures, data, homework, etc etc)
