Am i using safe settings for 3930k overclocked to 4.8ghz?

Hey guys.
I am new to OCN and this forum is pretty awesome ;o
so today i overclocked my cpu to 4.8ghz and its quite stable but i want to make sure if i am using safe settings and if i am getting good temp.

PC SPEC:
3930K
Rampage IV Extreme
H100

that's the bios settings currently what i am using:
450
450
450

and this is the temps i am getting while testing with IBT
239

The settings i am using to get 4.8ghz stable are safe?and the temp is fine?or should i downclock?
thanks!

Please wait atleast 24hours before bumping your own thread. thumb.gif

Those temps look great for a h100, what's your ambient temp?

Please fill in your system spec and set it to show in signature like so: Add your rig - My Profile > Create Rig or Rigbuilder > Edit signature text > Choose your sig rig as featured sig item.

If I had 3930K, 6-cores on 4.8GHz @ those temps, I would be happy tongue.gif

Now about your BIOS pictures (and your settings):

It looks like you have a lot more features than my mobo tongue.gif

So I don't know them, but I don't think it's correct...

But many R4E users are on this forum wink.gif

They' ll help you out!

Oh yeah: as munaim1 told ya wink.gif:

Looks great, but I wouldn't call it stable! Have to run prime for a while. 12hrs to get in the stable club if you feel so inclined! thumb.gif

To test if your OC is stable you must do a stress-test of Prime95 for 12 hours long...

But if your new... Be carefull as temps WILL rise in a stress-test! (welcom by the forum btw wink.gif)

If ya never don this, first ask for info wink.gif
