**Whats next after Qualcomm?

Thread Starter
As u all might know Qualcomm chipsets sound quality is crap x(

Even Symbian chipsets had better Sound quality than Current Qualcomm's chipsets in Android & Windows Phone x(

I just wanna know which company will release their chipsets after Qualcomm..& will its sound quality will be better than Qualcomm?

Doubtful, most phones don't focus that hard on sound quality, as far as I know the best android phone for sound quality was the captivate using a wolfdale DAC.

Tegra 2 uses the same Wolfson WM8994 that's in the Galaxy S, although like the Galaxy S you'll need Voodoo Sound to use it properly, which isn't available for every Tegra 2 device.

Tegra 3 looks to be disappointment though. Its using a Realtek DAC from what I can see, and there are reports of static hiss and an audible click before and after sound plays on both the One X and Transformer Prime, and audio quality is middling at best.

Like scrappy said, sound isn't a big concern in phones as that kind if stuff is usually marketed through accessories like headphones.
