I also would like to say that there is nothing wrong with Apple products. They make great products, even though there computers are a bit pricey. The only thing I hate Apple for is there business Motives. I personally am a Droid fan, Because I love to install custom ROMs, Kernels, and do all sorts of stuff with my phone. Not to mention, having a screen I can see wink.gif . But that doesn't mean Apple products are bad... In fact, without them, there would be no competition for Droids (Well, besides Windows phone, but we all know that's a joke) Which would mean there would be less pressure to create better Android devices. Also, Guess where your Rampage IV Extreme is made kiddos? Foxconn Shanghai!! Same with half of your other techno stuff you couldn't live without. Apple isn't the only one using Foxconn, so don't blame every chinese factory incident on some dead business-hippie man.

just a rant

Samsung does have a lot more money than Apple but that doesn't mean their stock price (or how many stocks are owned) will be higher.

It's relevant to the why do we need that much power inside of a phone. Yes it will end up there, but at this point in time, we don't need it. Development on mobile gaming is still young. I mean most of the game you play on touch screen devices have either horrid controls, or very simple controls. You only have so many options due to a lack of tactile feedback to the user. Personally I'd prefer to see leaps and bounds done with controls on say an iPhone game, then I would want to see improved graphics.

True dat.

I had to resort to the FPse and GT2 on my phone because ALL of the racing games out there had horrible controls.

We need the power for the games, and we need the games because they're fun to play. It's still young, but powerful graphics available to developers will cause mobile gaming to sky rocket.

Have you played any touch screen games recently? Like Infinity Blade 2, Modern Combat 3, Sky Gamblers: Air Supremacy? They controls are quite good, and the graphics are nice, but with five fold more powerful graphics -- there's a lot of potential. I'd much rather that Modern Combat 3 looks a bit like Crysis.

There's no such thing as 'the Android UI' because it can basically be customized to anything you want. Unlike the iPhone.

Bam tongue.gif

In my time I experienced Android 2.3 on Samsung Galaxy phones, on Sony Ericson Phones and Huawei(?) phones. None of them are equal to one another.
Custom tailored UI ftw?

Lmao, people still dont get it.
He wasnt even talking about... Android does not have a specific UI, every phone brand makes one different but people seem to only have messed with Samsung Android's so they think they are all the same lmao.
You guys should see Sony Ericson approach to the Android, its cool to say the least and it doesnt have to be rooted nor does it have to install a custom firmware(known to iPhone users as JailBreaking) on it to get that UI
