Can someone explain, i'm confused here?

Now that I think of it, MW3 is a perfect example. Take it's graphics on consoles, now look at max on PC. THey already have it able to scale up in GFX do they not?

Pretty sure they won't be charging way more for the next gen games. There really must be a point at which people just won't buy games, no matter what they look like or do and It can't be much higher than it is now. $70 could be possible but I don't know if it can stick that is a good chunk of change...

Expect CE's / LE's to be 200$ in this next generation of consoles.

Expect game prices to be like 69.99$ for X720, or so.

Games won't increase in price. Bank it.

greed methinks?

When companies have established a captive audience, they tend to charge more i.e. Apple.

Taking inflation into account, we've technically been paying less and less over the years.

That said, anyone who has an ounce of passion would never complain about being able to create more detailed and rich worlds for people to explore and enjoy.

I wouldn't call it garbage, I'd estimate the average designer salary to be right around $55k per year, $60k for artists, $90k for programmers, all of these after 5 years of experience. Certainly not overpaid though, I could make another $20-30k per year if I left game programming for something like web development, db programming, etc...

You didn't pay for day one DLC 10 years ago.
