Yes, they were both in stock for quite a while actually, 30 minutes maybe for TOP, an hour/hour and a half for OC.

What that means is that even of reference card with stock base core can potentially overclock just as high as a factory overclocked card. Not all cards are binned therefore you may still get a good chip in the stock reference card. If the factory overclocked card cannot overclock well, a reference card can actually beat it in an overclocking situation anyway.
It's a myth that a factory OC card over clocks well past its base core it's sold at.
basically, TOP will get me guaranteed factory overclock, but not necessarily anything more than that, right? My Gigabyte reference hits 1265 so hopefully I just get somewhat lucky again.
