I'm rather iffy on this memory. Has anyone else seen this? Perhaps they're a child company from someone large?

i have never heard of them and it seems relatively new, but it meets quality standards such as JEDEC and is made in the Taiwanese silicon valley so i expect they use similar IC's to that of G,Skill, OCZ etc so should be pretty good IMO

well from the google search Avexir ive seen things said like " Avexir is 100% made in Taiwan, Repblic of China (ROC). The company is located in Hsincu, Taiwan, it is lthe city like the silicon Valley in US for many semiconducter Technology companies.

Althought the brand nanme is new, the company is used to OEM for may international big brand names like OCZ, Geil, Muhskin and so on.

The teams of company are also have more than 15 years experience for Dram in the industry.

You maybe not head for the brand name before, but definately it is very worthwhile to take a try for its value in terms of quality and price. "

that aside, I'm looking to use this in my new system. The (nearly) 20$ difference in this one and the (orange/yellow) G.Skill makes it worth it for me. What's the statement on adding RAM heatsinks? good/bad?

heatsinks/heat spreaders and ram coolers are not really needed as your RAM even after heavy use should only get warm to touch..

AVEXIR Core DDR3-1333 16GB (8GB X2) CL9

Bought one of these a year ago for the shipping desk's computer back when I discovered the love and awesomeness of mech kybds and went on a buying spree for my business. OK, so we average about 10...

These popped up on my radar on Amazon for the stupid low price and I got two for work. One was definitely for the shipping station's computer. Other one? Well 1st was so cheap!! I might go find...

Bought the 1st one un-lit to see what I thought of Mech Keyboards after seeing all the nerds rave about them here in OCN. Wow! OK I get it now. You do gain an accuracy because the mind knows when...

Also, the cooling block was pretty flat. I'm a machinist on occasion and "pretty flat" isn't easy. I wet sand CPUs and coolers on glass; this cooler took 1/4 of the time the i7-2600k required to...

I wrote the initial info for this case, so that's pretty much my review. Compared to the TT Command Snow I just evaluated, if THIS case was ATX sized, I would rather buy this case than the TT...
