Buyah!
Sir... I am impressed!
Not to be too cynical, but have you checked temps w/ another monitor utility? I only ask as I like to err on the side of caution.

Thanks
, I've had great luck with both x2 4000 and x2 4800, they both overclock like champs. 3.12 Ghz seems about as hi as I can go tho, because if I try 3.14 my system will lock up at the first line of the POST screen and I have to cmos reset no matter even if I set vcore to 1.6.
I can do 303x10 at 1.44 vcore or 284x11 at 1.52 vcore, what do you think I should go with ?

No I havent checked temps with other programs but I notice that the temp goes up likes its supposed to when i run prime 95 and it goes higher with more vcore and oc. Even if its off by a few degrees its certainly seems to be reading changes correctly. And I used same exact setup with zalman 9500 and hitting 50C load with 1.52vcore

Sweet.....I'm a believer of Scythe coolers now!
I strapped on the silverstone FM121 to it and yah I really can't imagine a much better air cooling solution for the cpu.

Core is not your CPU temp. Its usually Temp1 or Temp2.

It seems directly related to the cpu1 temp but the reading on that one is vastly off in speedfan. It idles at like 43C and as soon as I start using the CPU it start making 3 degree jumps til like 63C sometimes.
