The core is AMD K8 in your system. Check the BIOS to see what temps are...

Sweet christ that thing is amazing... I checked the scythe webby there and it seems that particular model costs 50 dollars! however, mountability 4 ways, boasting MUCH easier install than the BT and it seems, lower temps... I cant see any reason why I shouldnt go buy one of these bad boys and some AS5 right now.

Scythe also says the entire thing including fan weighs 960 grams, so that seems to be a bit on the high side -- any ideas for weigh ballasting? any observed mobo flex?

The Infinitys or Mines are a great choice too. Just as a heads up the liquid pro will bond to your IHS and the base of your HSF. It lowers your temps ALOT, but it isn't worth it to me.

In the manual it says you can remove it with metal polish manual

Quote:
Should you desire to remove Liquid Metal from cooler and/or CPU (e. g. before selling), just wipe it off. Remains that will not come off easily that way can be removed with help of metal polish that is e. g. used for polishing chrome body parts in automobiles.

No dude it BONDED, like on and stay on. That metal polish would have to have some grit in it to get that off.

This is the coollabs http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835121005... I'm not sure bout long term use as this if the first time I tried it. I like how it spread out much easier than AS5 and the temps are real sweet. And yah I wholeheartedly recommend the Ninja, as it cools wonderfully and fits in my case without too much effort (avoided the Infinity model for this reason). As for the weight of it, I dont think it will cause any problems unless you plan on lugging your PC around everywhere. It feels very light for the size of it.

I got 4 silverstone FM121's in the case. 2 at the front, 1 at the back, and one on the Scythe Ninja. Case also has the "big boy" 200mm on top for exhaust.
