No probs flashing BIOS except don't use Live Update 5 which is an abortion. Only prob with your 3 cards and souncard is that it will leave very little space above the PSU and the OC buttons may be inaccessible. I had a soundcard and I ditched because the BBXP2 has good onboard sound.

Great looking build! Thanks for the update, i already own the haf-x and ysr a 360 up top and a 120 in back (xspc ex in push pull- they are slim rads) can you give a little more insight on the bottom slot? Does the soundcard physically fit in the last slot above the psu? I would rather not ditch $150 soundcard.

Edit: would a long thin flat head screwdriver be able to push the oc buttons with the card there?

Did not have a blown up view on my phone.. Now I am on my computer, looks like plenty of room for the soundcard in that last slot, hopefully no emi interference being that close to the psu. Perhaps I will leave the soundcard out until I have a stable cpu overclock? Then when all I need is the bios for small tweaks to get rid of final whea errors I will throw it in. Sound like a plan?

+rep for your help

Hi, here's a shot of my rig before I added the second GPU and with a Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatality Champion Pro (what a freaking name!) in the bottom slot. As you can see it gives about an inch of clearance from the PSU so you could reach the OC button with a screwdriver or better still a piece of dowel. Of course if MSI actually sold the multiconnect panel they supposedly make you wouldn't need to do this , but it can't be bought anywhere. http://www.msi.com/product/mb/MultiConnect_Panel.html
There was a problem with my soundcard not working close to the GPU (not the PSU) which is why I put it in the bottom slot.

Try the card(s) in the 3rd or the 5th slot. Try HDMI instead of DVI-D and vise versa.

Flip the Bios switch from A to B (or B to A depending on its position).

Also try the Multi-Bios button (Bios C), it will light blue when pressed.

How did you test that if the screen has no signal ?

Most likely the problem is all three Bios are too old to recognize IB-E.
If you can borrow an older SB-E CPU from a friend for less than 5 minutes to update the Bios & test with (or maybe from the PC shop if you're friendly with them).

Get v2.6 or above from here:
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Big_BangXPower_II.html#/?div=BIOS

Then we can tackle the memory issue if there is one thumb.gif
