Which 140mm Fans Are Best for Black Ice SR-1 560?

I'm going to buy a Black Ice SR-1 560mm radiator, which is optimized for lower RPM fans. The two choices I have are and .

The first one is a Prolimatech Blue Vortex 14 fan, which claims to push 87 CFM of air at only 18 dB and 1000RPM.

The second is a NZXT FX-140mm LED fan, which claims 84 CFM at 1000RPM and 24.5 dB.

On paper, the Prolimatech fans should be much better, however the NZXT fan is 13 blade and the Prolimatech is 9. The NZXT should push more air in practice, but that doesn't seem to be the case by the specs. Are the specs on the Prolimatech/NZXT wrong, or am I missing something?

If you have any other 140mm fans below 30dB or so that are better, let me know!

Thanks.

When it comes to fans, the specs are usually exaggerating. I have heard that those new NZXT fans are very quiet and push a lot of air though. No clue on the vortexes.

Don't suppose you have the room to use a 120mm Gentle Typhoon plus a Bgears 140mm fan adapter. It will add 13mm or so to your height but it will perform better than any 140mm in terms of performance to noise.

This combo is all I use on all of my 140mm radiators.

The NZXT fans were tested against the Gentle Typhoons (1850RPM) and the GTs only decreased temps by 1 degree C, but are 10dB louder and more expensive! I really think the NZXT fans are the way to go.

Yeah, that's what I heard... I think I may be picking a few of those up, especially with the cable sleeving and LED's.
