[MT] GIGBAYTE GeForce GTX 680 OC Edition Pictured

On launch day, NVIDIA’s partners only had reference models of the GeForce GTX 680 graphics card but all the customs models have started popping up now. GIGABYTE have also readied their custom GTX 680 OC model. Its based on a custom PCB with GIGABYTE’s Ultra Durable components. GIGABYTE slapped in their WindForce triple fan cooler to accompany the custom PCB. Unlike the reference card, this custom model comes with one 8-pin and one 6-pin PCIe connector. This should give a little boost to the overclockability of the card. On stock, core clock is set to 1071 MHz.

I think GIGABYTE needs to revamp their cooler, its good but they should bring some change.

They have a higher-end cooler that they save for their SuperOC versions. This is just their standard non-reference design. Really hoping I can pick one up as their coolers are wonderfully effective and quiet.

It's almost the same as my Gigabyte GTX460, albeit a bit longer. tongue.gif The Windforce 2x cooler is surprisingly quite, and is only audible after you ramp it up to 80%+ and cools beautifully. smile.gif

I'm sure we will also see a "super overclock" variant in the future like gigabyte did with the 480,560,570,580

My god they're beautiful. Dunno why they went with the ugly stacked connectors on normal cards.
