[MT] GIGBAYTE GeForce GTX 680 OC Edition Pictured - Page 6

So far this looks like the best GTX 680 model, improved phases should mean better overclocking I hope and it's 2 dual link DVI instead of the garbage single link the MSI Twin Frozr model has. I'd like to get 2 of these any idea when it will be released?

I'd expect it within the next week.

From the specs on their website, it looks like one is DVI-I (Dual) and the other is DVI-D, so yea it should be two dual links. Guru3D's review also makes this claim.

I had the chance to test two of these and I must say I'm impressed byt the cooler. Round after round of 3DMark11 and NEVER above 58 celsius degrees with clocks 1222-1237MHz on the cores.

Decided to upgrade my CPU cooling as well. The card went up a little before noon and were sold out by 1PM EST.

Every OEM is a failure unless they add voltages > 1.175V. There's no point in adding more cooling or more phases if you can't reach clocks high enough to use them.

Hell maybe OEMs should try to get the ref card in stock and then start worrying about foo foo fan designs.

Paying sales tax. You should move to a different state rolleyes.gif If I were you I'd find a buddy that lives in a tax-free state and pay them $10 to re-ship to me.

Yea if I wasn't getting 12/mo no interest on my Newegg account I would've tried to get it somewhere else that doesn't have a physical presence in my state, and as such I wouldn't have to pay sales tax. But $60 spread over 12/mo isn't much, plus Newegg was the only one selling it when I bought it.

Should have it Monday afternoon!

Gigabyte loves blue PCBs. Most of their low/mid range motherboards are made of blue PCB, but the high end boards are black and silver nowadays. Personally I care as much about the color of the PCB as I care about something that I don't care about at all.
