Okay just bsod in desktop it says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
post #22 of 33
What changed? A minute ago it wasn't even turning on. And now it runs for 5 minutes and freezes? If it freezes (desktop remains, but nothing is responding), give it a few minutes. If it's still frozen and hasn't shut itself off, only thing I've seen consistently freeze a system on display is something GPU related. Did you update the graphics drivers and windows? Did you reseat the GPU? Are the fans on the GPU spinning?

It could be a driver issue if it's only locking up when you are on windows.
It would explain being fine yesterday and not today, since you might not have rebooted the computer after installing a bad driver.
Try booting it up on safe mode and see if it crashes, if it doesn't, uninstall all drivers and download the updated ones.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is often, but not always, driver or RAM related. What was the Stop code? Example is 0x0000003F, we don't need to know the 0's, just the numbers / letters at the end.

is your rig overclocked at all? If so then try returning to stock and see if it still crashes

Did you recently install any new drivers?

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL means overheating cpu or ram failure. Try to tell us your cpu temps in safe mode, and if those are fine, switch out your ram with a good set.

RAM errors or Driver realated issues is the right area to start in,try uninstalling all drivers and reinstalling them, clean all registrys with cclean and if not fixed try switching ram around.
