I'm pretty sure those surveys only covered mobile devices, but I wouldn't have seen them winning this poll either tbh.

I don't think the purpose of this poll/thread is supposed to be persuading you otherwise lol.

Why is EA a bad company? Yes, they are extremely greedy, but you have to admit they have great support and games. I enjoyed a ton of their games including Bulletstorm, Dead Space, BF3, The Sims 3, FIFA series, and much more. I also got a response from them under 30 hours. The only reason I could think of why EA was voted #1 is due to their greed and support for measures such as SOPA and online to play single-player games (Origin).

Doesn't origin have an offline mode?

Does it? I've never used it, as I always stay online. Also, yes, if Origin has an offline mode and you could play on it, why are people bashing EA?

Well, comparing EA customer support to Steam Support there was hardly a difference; just a generic answer that didn't help any frown.gif
Wouldn't be surprised if a number of these voters simply went for EA because of Mass Effect 3 and its endings. Someone on Overclock tried to state how bad EA was by linking to Wikipedia and criticism they got... which was around a time-period of 4 years where they've apparently improved on quite well (Oh, and last year how EA is a sexist Corporation for having a Dead Space 2 trailer saying, 'moms won't approve of this game!')

EDIT: Also Origin has worked fine offline, better than Steam because I can actually start Origin offline. Who knows, the people who might not have been able to play offline might have had their game updated which bugged Origin out.

Paypal and Walmart are way worse then EA. EA may be greedy, but it is not as bad. The only reason why EA was voted was because a bunch of whiny gamers were pissed, they spreaded the polls via forums and was told to vote for EA.

Because they are "the worst company in America" tongue.gif

In truth its probably a combination of their actual business practices, media spin, and people being reticent to try something new like Origin.

I am honestly surprised they won, if ea creates a bad game boo hoo I just wont buy it. While the current greed and risk taking that banks have done is responsible for this financial mess. Or how paypal has lost people actual money for no reason due to paypal problems. All this proves is that nerds whine louder than anyone else and do not see the problems outside their little gaming world.

EA has it's own in house developers but a lot of those games aren't developed by EA.
EA is primarily a publisher.

My opinion on this is that when a company comes out a applauds another for squeezing every penny it can out of a franchise, well... that says it all. Even Activision won't come blatantly out, point their finger at you and laugh as they hand you the KY.
