Biased poll.
EA doesn't care.
People think they should care.
People think EA is actually worse than companies that are quite literally profiting off of the death of America.
People are dumb.

"We're sure that bank presidents, oil, tobacco, and weapons companies are all relieved they weren't on the list this year. We're going to continue making award-winning games and services played by more than 300 million people worldwide."

kookoo.gif Apparently they're not aware that majority of those 300 million people they "service" and make games for, absolutely hate their "service". This statement actually is a prime example of everything wrong with EA and how they think...which is thinking they're much better than everyone else and sweeping all complaints under the rug not listening to anyone.

So, GrizzleBoy, about that argument we had the other day... seems you're in the wrong, bud. Keep calling this a "Valve vs. EA" thing though, because EA's reputation for greed has nothing to do with it, right?

First off EA isn't a company, they are a publicly traded corporations, and there lays the finer difference as to why they suck so bad....

Companies like Bioware offer support, notice I called them a company and not a corporation, though they are indeed "technically both" just like EA, but the difference is Bioware are ran by the business owner, not some paid board of trustees like EA is... EA is a public traded corporation and there lays a major difference...

Furthermore, many of the games that they slap the EA label on also have horrible support...

Finally, once a company sells their company or game to EA, you can just kiss support goodbye!

Enough Said?

Actually, you'd be surprised. The people that are dissatisfied with EA games and feel the need to complain are the vocal minority. The large majority of people stick to playing the games, rather than immediately heading to forums to describe every fault in a game.

Sites like OCN are an extreme minority among the greater population of gamers. Opinions voiced here =/= general consensus.

Odd.. If the majority of people hated their "service" (referring to Origin or their publishing?) they would be considered a failure and, depending on what you're talking about, Origin would die or EA would die. In reality, the majority of people don't actually care. They're either enjoying the games or don't care enough to make a big deal out of it. It's actually a very small percentage of the community that sits there complains about every little thing that they do. You can point out how many people criticize EA on this forum, the official forums, and other internet communities, but it's still a very small amount of people compared to how many people actually buy their products. That's a few thousand people compared to millions that either like their products or don't care. That statement just shows that EA sees this as worthless as it is, putting a video game publisher in front of companies that actually destroy lives and have a negative effect on this country.

This is slightly overdoing it imo. There are companies out there that are responsible for far worse things than a gaming company. People are just ignorant of them.

it seems you cannot understand the difference if anything, there are treatments for cancer(verb for medical care), there are CURES for chlamydia(verb for RELIEVE FOR THE TIME BEING). The whole point is that curable diseases DO reoccur, it IS relevant and the core of my argument
Basically you made no point at all...peoples heads is stuck on "cure" as in cured for good, which is impossible. Not only are there different types of cancers but cancer can recur at any given moment on any given body part, JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER MEDICAL ISSUE

I think you really are under-estimating how cruel and greedy people truly are. In today's world, money is more valuable than human lives.

You really have to look at it from that business perspective. Let's take food for an example.

You could either sell a pack of seeds to people one time and they can go and grow their own food and then never need to come back to you for business

OR

You could suppress those seeds from people and not allow them to grow their own while you grow the food and then they are forced to keep coming back to you for the food.

Sure there's a small profit in selling those seeds once to someone, but there's MUCH more profit with-holding those seeds and selling the food to them over and over for repeat business.

You get it now?

Yeah, you're right.

This poll is obviously undoubtable, concrete, accurate and proves whatever it is your were apparently trying to prove, whenever it was we talked about, whatever it was that we talked about at whatever time you are referencing.

Tbh, I dont even remember what we were talking about but I'm quite sure you attempting to derive any true meaning from this poll is just as laughable as the notion that EA should consider this poll worth taking seriously.

Quite sure I never mentioned Valve in this thread either, but hey.

I'm quite sure you're the first person to even mention anything to do with EA vs Valve and you'll probably be the last too as I have no idea how anything I have said in this thread relates to that.

Whatever floats your sack.

Pulling numbers/info from your rectum is quite unhealthy and is not a nice habit to display in public.
