Had to give EA a call because BF3 had a sound problem. Great experience with them.

Indeed.

All this is about as relevant and credible as me creating a blog, getting people to vote on who is the worst person in the world out of Tom Cruise, Clint Eastwood and Samuel L Jackson and then announcing that Tom Cruise is indeed the worst person in the world.

Then having all the people who dislike Tom Cruise saying "I knew it".

Yep. A banks only goal is to take your money. At least EA and all the other publishers on the planet actually give you a product in return...

Come to think of it, you don't even own that product any more. Now you just hold a "license" to play the game. Maybe EA is worse than a bank...

Who am I kidding, banks are the scum of the earth.

I hate EA, but my hatred stems back to when Sega was making better football games than them in 2003-2004. In 2004 Sega had the balls to offer NFL 2K5 for the brand new price of $20. Instead of welcoming the competition and trying to make a better game (because sports games can become stagnant very quickly) EA went to NFL and purchased sole rights to all the players and teams. Sega cannot make a new NFL game until after 2013.

Since 2004 I swore never to buy another EA game, I did falter and buy both Dead Space games but they were so good I couldn't help it.

Edit: here is a quote from the wiki page if you guys didn't know any of this

"ESPN NFL 2K5 was the first in the 2K series priced at $19.99 the day it shipped, much lower than market leader Madden NFL at $49.99. This greatly reduced Madden sales that year; one EA Sports developer recalled that "it scared the hell out of us".[1] EA reduced Madden NFL 2005's price to $29.95. Following 2005 editions of both games, EA Sports acquired an exclusive rights agreement with the NFL and NFLPA to be the sole creator of NFL video games. The deal terminated 2K Sports production of any further NFL games. The ensuing season, Madden 2006, saw pricing returned to the $49.99 MSRP.

In December 2010, A U.S. district court judge certified a class action anti-trust lawsuit against Electronic Arts for anti-competitive practices to proceed.[2] Pending the outcome of the suit, 2K Sports could be granted NFL rights again which would permit the series to continue. In February 2011, however, EA extended the exclusive contract until 2013.

LOL. Their support is horrible and Origin should die. But I think the banks, oil companies, and apple all deserve it more. thumb.gif

Who am I kidding, banks are the scum of the earth.

Based on what I've received when purchasing Bioware games and Crysis 2, EA is working their way toward just taking money and providing nothing in return.

We only know the total amount of votes received during the entire competition.
-The site is a blog, not obliged to be objective in any way.
-Even if EA received 249,970 votes over the course of the competition, that's still a tiny number of people in comparison to the amount of people in America.
-People are idiots to despise the dealings of EA more than banks.

If EA recieved 249,970 votes over the course of the competition, I'd call that pretty accurate. (Although they more than likely didn't)

Now I don't know how this was done or anything, but if all the voters were completely random it doesn't matter how many people live in America compared to how many voted.
Even if there only were about 2401 random voters, the margin of error would only be 2% for the rest of the population across America.

Now, I don't know much about this. So I could have done some mistakes. But you could always check out this link to see for yourself what I'm talking about.

I agree tbh, it was a bad point to make.

Was just trying to say that the amount of votes that EA received cant be said to be what "America" thinks due to the inevitability of the sample size just being too small.

and you don't know much about statistics if you think 250k isn't enough to come to that conclusion.

If the vast majority of the 250k polled say one thing, then you can conclude with virtual certainty that the vast majority of 300 million will say the same thing.
