SSD usage make PSU sqeal (TX-650w) - Page 2

Update : I've plug the SSD on the other PSU, and the TX650 is squealing the same, ... the only thing holding this psu to the other is a GPU via the PCI-e connector, (no 5v, yet commonly grounded)

What test could I do to torture the 5v part, other than loading every USB port there is ?

My friend has a good oscilloscope, would noise on the 5v be a good reason to RMA ?

That's the most intensive work for an SSD and subsequently the most demanding in terms of power.

Pretty sure it's not the ssd that makes it squeal, more likely it's not having enough load. My tx650 was doing that too before, until i installed power hungry components
