GTX WHAT?!

hello everybody, i am building my first comp, excited, but sick, SO SICK, of looking through the video cards.....

I am trying to find an NVIDIA GeForce (at least a 560Ti) for pricing around ~$250-$350. I just want something that i am not going to go broke from but get great performance from as well. The extent of this will be Diablo III and Skyrim with the occasional online video and some audio editing.

Specs of comp being built:

Case: NZXT Switch 810 (White) ATX Full Tower Case
CPU: i5-2500K
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Mobo: ASRock Z68 Extreme3
SSD: Crucial M4 128GB
HDD: Old hdd from XPS (if compatible, checking tonight)
Video Card:????????
PSU:Corsair 600W ATX12V Power Supply
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600

That is the build that is going to be made, i have already decided against getting the Ivy Bridge i5-3570K because i don't want to mess around with the "latest and greatest" on my first build, i want to go with reliability. Stuff that has been ran and tested and troubleshooting has been done.

Any thoughts?

Should probably post what monitor resolution(s) you will be running at as well.

Diablo 3 will run on nearly anything so don't even take that into consideration.

Skyrim can be demanding depending on what you are running in the game as well.

Post resolutions first.

I would definitely go with the 480 as well, seeing as it has essentially the same performance of the gtx 570, but with more vram and a lower price.

I can find one of the GTX 570's for about 289.99 online, so i can justify $40-$60 difference in cards to add more performance. Is the GTX 570 worth upgrading to instead of the 560Ti 448 cores and OC it?

EDIT: So the 480 is pretty much the same performance as the 570? buuuut.... costs less?

i see three possivilities..

460 SLI , 480 or 570 that is very good overclockable.

use a searchmachine for some benchmarks and decide yoself..
