Imo, using NH-D14 without oc'ing is a waste. You could of used cooler master 212 evo and gotten same result.

I want to overclock, but the box has been rendering most if it's short life so just want to make sure it's running safe before I turn it up, with the help of this forum I hope to push it with in it's limits

Did some tests this morning, seems what i set in Asus Tools (CPU VCORE) doesn't match what i'm seeing in CPU-Z, although temps seems good (20 minutes prime). Any suggestions?485

I think there is a whole thread about oc'ing this beast in the Intel cpu section too. I'm not familiar with this chipset but the temps and looks like stock volts looks pretty good for a 6 core!
