Personally I have used it and don't like it. I hate that I have to remember keyboard short cuts just to use the OS fluidly like 7, which is a couple simple mouse clicks away.
On the flip side my wife uses it as her sole OS on her laptop and loves it. So maybe casual users will like it (which is the clear majority of users)
But I still think people like us will have problems getting use to it

A lot of people just do not feel like relearning how to use a desktop PC again.
