but with some consequences to it no SSD, the case, HDD like 500GB or 320GB, you have to go with the cheap 1600Mhz 8GB Kit (but not lose any performance wink.gif), a decent mid end or entry level motherboard rolleyes.gif if you dont mind these things ya a 1000$ rig with GTX 680 can be setup lachen.gif

I would recommend not cheaping out on the mobo and PSU... The gpu will probably be the first part you replace or SLI/Xfire but you probably won't be upgrading mobo/cpu as soon.

Mine on the first page is $960 without a case and after two small rebates. It even has a good motherboard and the i5-2500K wink.gif No SSD is happening at his budget though.. unless it to be his only drive, and 64GB.

Eh I never really trusted rebates. I was able to hit ~990 no rebates with everything including 120gb SSD. Can always get a cooler later, 3.7ghz is enough to feed the gtx 680. thumb.gif

Naw i got a xfi titanium... i got it for like 60 bucks from amazon. I played on my buddys pc with the titanium HD and I did not hear a difference... so im happy.
