The only sure way is either an official word from Thermalright or someone actually tried it out.

As neither is available at this moment, I attempt to fit the Shaman digitally onto a reference GTX680 to see if it fits. Here it goes:-

Step 1
Below shows that an installed Shaman needs 3 things for compatibility:-
a) Clearance of its heatpipes with bracket
b) Clearance with the PCIe power connectors
c) Mounting holes dimension compatibility

640

Step 2
GTX680's mounting holes are found to be 58mm apart. This is the same as GTX570/580.
http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1881/3/

So, I use the provided mounting plate and fix it to the Shaman.

Step 3
Then, I grab a naked reference GTX680 (high resolution) pic shown below.
294

Step 4
I then mount the Shaman over the GTX680 digitally by superimposition.
389

Conclusion
Both mounting holes dimension and clearance with the PCIe connectors receive a green light.

Note, the heatpipes come very close to the slant casing of the 2 stacked DVI outputs. See the orange oval below. I do not give this a green light but I also do not give a red light. This is because as the casing is slanted, the heatpipes might possibly clear off the base of the casing because they are located higher off from the PCB base. But this is still an uncertainty though.

Very nice to know it does work!

I see you have a triple slot ASUS card. I assume it will work on a dual slot card as well???

And now, with the cooler installed, how many slots is it? Dual or Triple? (I guess triple...)

And why not put your fan at max? You wont hear it blow anyway, there almost silent tongue.gif

And how are your temps with DC2 cooler and now with Shaman? Can you overclock higher? Lower heat?

I guess the 670 will work as well...
