That's strange, then it's not hardware related, might be driver related...

Dota 2 doesn't have a game option to select 120hz, i put "-refresh 120" just like Counter-Strike: Source in the set launch option and it stays at 120hz in CCC whereas CSS drops to 60hz

Put vsync on in dota and check your frames if they go over 60 or not.

Im having the same issue on my Samsung 700d. Has anyone resolved this? In other games it runs at 120 hz in CCC

Update:
After opening CSS and resetting it in CCC, it allows the monitor to run at 120hz(in CCC) without resetting. Unfortunately it appears you would have to do this every time to set it at the desired refresh rate.

After looking around this appears to be an AMD only problem.(whats new)

When CCC does revert to 60hz, in my monitor menu it still displays 120hz. I do not know what this means.

Is it bad that CCC displays 60hz while windows and my monitor menu show 120hz? I guess the answer to this would solve both our problems as i have tried driver reinstalls and all available commands.

Its just a bug that CCC says its at 60hz because its not detecting the monitor correctly. But i assure you mine is running at 120hz even though CCC says other wise smile.gif
