You may be right.. I am just having issues making my USB drive my Vmemory... For some reason it's not showing up under the Vmemory drive list.

I don't get a lock up, but I get a slight lockup and I hear that sound for less than a sec, then I can continue playing... It's really annoying, because at the time I do it, I can't even ADS, move, turn, or control any aspect of my character what so ever. I also get really long, long, I MEAN "LONG" load times going into a server.. once I get in map change is fairly quick, but just getting in the server takes at least 5mins sometimes. My system specs are below, and my in game setting are:

 

Oh I see now it's your sndcrd buzzing - drivers dude - and sound settings.

Your 1G usb external could be causing issues as well - unplug it and try your onboard snd again if you want to, or your soundcard.

 

Check your HD led to see if it's solid accessing. Turn off hotplug in bios.

Clear your corrupted hd swapfile
