Well if the mousefeet where properly applied and the shell wasn't crooked, it would be a pretty nice mouse. So based on my experience I reckon their quality control to be severely lacking, and it's too much of a gamble to get one, a notion strengtened by the fact that their support and RMA process is horrendous.
My RAW actually seemed pretty nice in the beginning I played a couple of hours of SC2 and Diablo, however then it began to wobble. So I turned it over and found that the mousefeet was unevenly applied and they 'bubble up' several places (lacking adhesive). Worse yet further study by looking at the mouse I can see that it's whole body is twisted, and it was the faulty mousefeet that kept it straight in the beginning.
Now that I have flattened the mousefeet as best I can the mouse wobbles like crazy. So much that the mousepointer jumps around when I use it.
My problem is worsened by the fact that I bought my Sensei (original) several months ago, and shortly after had to RMA it. SteelSeries support is horrendously sluggish, I have to make new requests regularly because they will ignore you at a certain point, not responding.
I have been quite civil and very reasonable in the matter too. The only thing I will not do is send back the mouse, because that costs me 12€ each time, plus the work. And the first time I send it in, the RMA site didn't register it as recieved, thankfully I had a track and trace, so they agreed to send me a new mouse, a RAW.
I have recorded some videos of my RAW, but promised them to keep the links hidden for now, but I am running out of patience.
Most people would probably just have given up by now, but it's become a matter of principle.
