ok i tried to raise clock speed, loosen memory timings and raise vcore but everytime comp froze right when it should detect my sata drive. It did recognized my ide drive and 2 dvdrw drives ok and then it froze.

I think probably my ram is cheap (4 x 256 MB PC3200) or there is problem with sata.

Any suggestion?

Also my CPU temp at idle in bios is 50°C. Is this too much for overclocking? And there my confusion comes in. In speedfan when i change rpm of cpu cooler the only value changing is temp1 and on same rpm as in bios it says 39°C. which reading is right? Or am i looking at wrong temps?

the reading in bios is roughly 80% load so they are both right and at 50c i would be thinking about better cooling

You will need to lock your SATA ports and PCI LOCK. Your overclock is intefering with the SATA controller which means it cant detect your SATA drives.
