But this is also an example of a company chasing after a piece of pie already on someone else's plate. I would much rather see them put the development money into pushing what they are good at. God help me for saying this, but that is exactly what apple is doing right in product design (not necessarily technology). They couldn't care less, they want to make their own pie instead of taking it which is why they don't need many options. In my humble opinion that is what drives innovation and causes the most success.

Why would we want other people to eat a slice of pie? From a business standpoint, I want all the pie. The classy cases pie, the gaming cases pie, the full tower watercooling pie, the mATX pie, the Mini ITX pie... I don't want anybody else eating the pie. I want all of it.

And now I have a stomachache.

Seriously though - we do okay on the "classy" cases side. The Obsidian series is selling very well and we're committed to expanding it into interesting areas in the future. Same with Carbide and Graphite, and now Vengeance for gaming rigs and LAN Parties.

It may take us 2 years or 5 years or 10 years to be the best in the market in every category - but I'm not willing to just give an entire market segment to our competition. That'd be like an olympian deciding not to run a race because who really needs 8 gold medals?

I think the case offers something the other guys' gaming cases don't. It's got minimal plastic pieces (the entire front panel and 5.25" bay covers are steel), it's very sturdy, offers a lot of expansion and airflow, and can house dual 240mm radiators (top and bottom) for guys who want to do watercooling. The handles are very sturdy - each one can support the full weight of the case when built, so you can carry it by only one handle if you want.

It's a pretty cool case, but if you think it's ugly, that's cool - we have other cases for you to look at. smile.gif

Headset is jizz.

Case...I'll take a silver one. Not really digging the red power button though but it wouldn't stop me from owning one. LAN rig coming up biggrin.gif

ok and thats youre opinion, not fact. Why are you getting so butthurt over a case?

seriously, you should relax

So much props.

The case looks like it has potential, especially for those people that use corsair/antec AIO coolers for GPUs as well, so much internal hidden watercooling smile.gif

Why Corsair did you have to ruin the side panel window with fan mounts.
That there is stupid, and many agree.

Because side panel vents an fan mounts drop GPU temps significantly. It's about performance. If you want one without fan mounts, maybe we'll look into that.

You already have HDD mount fans, to pull air across from the front fans. To say that it drops temps significantly, is not. A few degrees, yes. Not like what you said.
I have a 200m side fan, temps dont drop that much. maybe 2-4c at max.
Lower temps on GPU would be better from faster fans on the GPU.

But a 120/140mm side for GPU, will do very little. Only to direct airflow with case.
Thats all it will do. If you use a tower heatsink on CPU, 100% you will not use top side slot for a fan.
