[MAXIMUMPC] Corsair Announces First Vengeance Gaming Headset and PC Case - Page 10

It looks a lot like their 550R case?
It looks interesting to say the least, but the vent holes look too restrictive for just any fan,and the handles appear too flimsy to trust thousands worth in hardware when you can just carry the thing or put wheels on it.
Moar cores!

Hey guys, I have a bit of a crazy idea here so bear with me. I have a pair of 6990's with no home ATM so i was looking into a Switch 810 based waterloop which would be able to dissapate enough heat (needs about the equivalent of 7x120mm rads for some oc headroom). Then I stumbled upon this case and at first dismissed it from my mind as having enough radiator capacity, but upon thinking again, it occurred to me that I may be able to mount enough radiators by placing a 120.2 in the top and bottom, a 120.1 on the back and then a 120.2 on the door. The immediate obstacle (opening/closing the case aside) is that a 35mm slim radiator + 25mm fans would not fit with the gpu's in position, but several possible solutions came to mind and it would be great to hear someone (especially corsairgeorge) or someone with more physical experience with the case chime in:
1) remove the window from the door, and rotate it so that the fan mount may be past the gpu and thereby allow the rads + fan to fit.
2) mount the rad on the outside and loop some tygon hosing from the radiator into:
a) what looks like watercooling holes at the top of the back. They aren't cut out, but is that only with the pre-production versions? or is it left to the user to cut those out himeslef?
b)Just drill some holes in the acrylic and run the hoses through that.

Thoughts? I've had a laptop for a while so i have no way to reference the distance from a gpu to the side panel

I think the door rad would be overkill. Two 120.2s and a 120.1 would be a ton of cooling potential.

He's gotta cool 4 gpu cores and a cpu though...

Yeah, I forgot to explicitly mention that the GPU's would be in the loop. I'm planning on building a rig at the end of summer and I'm really liking the idea of drilling through the acrylic--It could look very nice with some blue hoses on the arctic white case. I'll probs post a build log early september

The second I saw this case I immediately made the decision to build my new rig in it. This case belongs with a Sabertooth board!
