Gigabyte's Z77 line-up "leaked" by a retailer! - Page 3

The G1 Sniper3 is out on this site: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-387-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2261

Seems affordable for a top tier board with a build in sound card.

The price excluding VAT is around 380 USD acccording google. That's a bit to much for me even if I really love all those features. I kind of like the look of it, too. But I think I'll have to settle for the UD5H.

Does anybody with hi-end boards really use VGA port? Why is Gigabyte resurrecting this ancient port on their boards? I haven't seen them on Gigabyte hi-end boards, only low-end and mATX boards used it.

Most affordable projectors use VGA instead of HDMI or DVI so they give you that option with theor boards.

Remove the heatsinks and powder coat them black. Yeah you'll void the warranty
is that something I can do relatively cheap?

ASRocks line-up is usually all black with black and grey heatsinks and gold caps.
I know but those gold caps really stick out bad....I guess I'm picky!!!

I doubt that the users with hi-end motherboards and graphics cards will use affordable projectors. Most of them use either 120Hz monitors or 27"/30" with 1440p/1600p resolution. So clearly VGA isn't an option for such setups.
