This is how all Samsung phones have taken screenshots on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and the Infuse should be the same. It might take a try or two to get the timing down. Try holding power down and almost immediately hitting HOME and then releasing both.

And for those that think you need root for screenshots on devices that don't have support. Just have USB drivers and download "No Root Screensho It" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.edwardkim.android.screenshotitfullnoroot&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5lZHdhcmRraW0uYW5kcm9pZC5zY3JlZW5zaG90aXRmdWxsbm9yb290Il0.

Hi,
I downloaded this app but the documentation is all in Chinese or some other asian language. Can anyone tell me once I take the screenshot where do they save to? Not as techy as you all. Thanks.

For the screenshot app on the first page isnt compatible with your phone.

Just root your phone and slap on ICS or JB ROM. Most guides on XDA are quite straight forward and whatever you dont understand, then you ask or search on google.

You will probably wanna go thru this first and look under Unlocking/Rooting: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1610374

Then for a list of ROMs or MODs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1161

(so jelly u got dem Android 4.2 ROMs)
