Even the phenom ii x6 can go head to head with BD x8

That's why i said "can go head to head"
The phenom ii x6 is better in some aspect, the BD x8 is better in the other.

Huh? I run multiple programs on i3 (including BOINC/Folding), I have yet to see my computer slowed down. Must be your imagination.

This is not a good argument for the performance of any chip. If you use that argument, you might as well have bought an Athlon x2 or something cheaper.

I bought a 8120, benched it to hell on phase and sent it back after seeing how much power it was drawing on air. When I compared benchmarks to my 1090T, the 1090T had it beat almost every time anyway.

Thing about that is this, E.O.L. Thubans are getting very hard to find, only one still available on the egg is the 1045t.Like it or not FX is here to stay.

Don't blame AMD for what the retailers choose to put in stock.
