nice job smile.gif i just started OC'n my 1090t today.. hopefully will have some numbers tomorrow..

raising the multiplier isn't as beneficial so i didn't notice much of a difference at 4.0ghz on benchmarks.. gonna play with FSB tomorrow..

just rember keep HT down around 2000Mhz + or - 100 Mhz and your NB around 3000 Mhz + or - 100 Mhz

How come? Just wondering because if you do an FSB of 230 HT would be higher than you suggest..

No it won't, lower the multiplier down at that point. wink.gif

HT Link should stay between 1800-2100MHz. NB should be clocked as high as possible (use CPU-NB volts when you hit instability with NB). CPU should also be clocked as high as possible (up to 1.55v vcore / CPU-NB).

i understand.. im gonna try that out.. havent overclocked since my old 7750BE.. however i read somewhere not to go over 1.2v on the nb.. is that true? what's considered safe? is that motherboard specific? and how do you monitor the temp for that.. is it just the motherboard temp?

Your "NB voltage" is actually your motherboard voltage...which should only be raised when raising your HTT Clock (also called FSB). So you honestly don't really need to raise that one unless you're doing some crazy high HTT clocks.

Your CPU-NB Voltage, is your processor's IMC voltage. This is what you raise when you raise your NB Clock frequency, and your RAM frequency / timings. This is safe up to 1.55v. Same with your vcore (for CPU frequency changes).
