Well the most important thing to remember when painting plastic's is to use a plastic adhesion promoter. Like bull dog,du pont, dupli color makes one to.
The way I do it is the following way:

1. Take apart the plastic piece to paint.
2. Sand the plastic piece with a red scotch brite pad( I't equal to a 400 grit sand paper)
3. Clean the plastic piece with soap and a brush, To remove any dirt from sanding. Dry the plastic.
4. Apply the adhesion promoter, Let dry for about 30 minutes. The surface of the plastic is going to feel tacky, this is normal.
5. Apply primer, let dry upon instruction of the paint your using. If sanding is needed use 800 to 1,000 grit sand paper.
6. Apply at least to coats of paint.
7. Apply clear coat and again at least 2 coats. Do Not skip clear coat.

Your done!

This is what happens when you dont use adhesion promoter. this is a peal test.
This happens if you scratch it, or use tape to paint a different color.

Oh and before a forget adhesion promoter can be used on plastics, metals, glass

Well I received the new mesh from NZXT was thinking that the old side panel well be made into a windowed side panel.
and the mesh that is no longer usable, I'm going to use it to cover the PSU.

Let's get into this new project.

I cut a piece of card board with the shape of the side panel mesh to mock up the correct size and position.

450

Then started to see what position and how would it look better.
And decided this is the way I want it.

450

This is the result. with out no cutting tools since I don't have none. Had to do it the old fashion way. bending back and foward

450

Now off to paint to give it that Soundworks Touch haha.
And as you can notice, That in the middle is the adhesion promoter.

450

Here it is painted in black, Waiting for it to dry to paint the accent's on it then clear coat it.

Final product!

450

Installed and looking sexy!
