Have anyone seen any of this "Ultra Wide TV"? My co-worker was telling me about it. And I was interested in it.

Anyone have any experience?

It's probably some 21:9 "cinema display" for movies.

Yes, those do exist. Not a lot for TVs, but quite a few projectors with 21:9/2.35:1 ratios. They're pretty expensive though. Phillips and Vizio debuted some like 3 years ago IIRC with a rez of 2560 x 1080.

I remember reading that a TV was also recently shown or released with that aspect ratio/resolution or something.

yes at CES this year they had a few on display they are suppose to release sometime this year here is one that was there
