Anyone know if you need the Gamefly client for BF3 if you buy through them? Or can you just register with Origin?

I'm not sure how Gamefly does there digital downloads, it's becoming a bit of a mess with all these digital retailers and their own clients. Since BF3 requires Origin, they must give you a key for it. It just doesn't make any sense that you would download it through Gamestop, then have to install origin afterwards.. but I don't know for sure.

It dropped to $7.49 on Steam during the Christmas sale I believe.
