Ya i don't know why the auto tuner sets the vcore that high... I have two options using AI Suite, 'fast' and 'extreme' both of which set the vcore to 1.525.

there are lots of threads about OC that you can learn from. read up and learn as much as you can and manually overclock. i dont know much about this stuff but honestly anything that offers and auto option while cool usually does not configure the most ideal settings for what you would actually want wink.gif

Maybe try: 3.8 @ 1.38V. And check the temperatures with CoreTemp for example. They shouldnt exceed 55-58C. Thermal limit is 62 but better stay a bit below.
Edit: Oh stock cooler, better not overclock. tongue.gif Stock cooler is crap.

Never oc on a stk cooler, your just looking for trouble!!

One last question, I have two different temp. monitors that give out different readings, which one should I base my concerns on. Core temp or AI Suite? core temp says around 50-55c on stock and 57-60 on the over clock I had set at one time, but on the other hand AI Suite says the highest I've hit with the OC was 55. Any ideas?
