Side Panel Bolt Hole's Stripped

Thread Starter
My new Storm Trooper case arrived with two of the four bolt holes that fasten the side panels stripped out with the bolts spinning loose in the holes. I thought that was a bit of cheese wiz for a case at this price point. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I wondered if I could find a little nylon nut that would lock down the bolt from behind?

Just double check the thumb screws. The CMST ships with a bunch of hardware. There are corse thumb screws and fine thumb screws. Every now and then I mix them up. The fine thread is smaller and just spins.

You know, the really amazing thing about your response is how you were able to do it without including at least one strongly-worded adjective describing how far my head must be stuck up my "you-know-what"!!! During this Easter holiday, you sir are an example of how to demonstrate grace when confronted with astonishing stupidity. Thank you!

Hey sorry man. I was typing my answer from my phone at work I was just trying to give you a timely response. I was basing my answer on my own experience with the case. When I was assembling my Storm Trooper I ran into the same thing, except my holes weren't stripped. I didn't realize Cooler Master shipped two different threaded thumb screws with the case. It was an honest mistake on my part. I wasn't by any means trying to insult you.

You could always use zip ties, or make a zip tie screw. Atleast to hold you over until you go to Fry's or a hardware store.

I know you weren't.. I was being serious. That was such a stupid mistake on my part, I was amazed at how you were able to respond without making me feel stupid. Seriously... thank you!

Lol, that's final I'm going for new glasses. You don't even want to know how my brain interpreted your response lol. I'm glad it worked out for you.
