Aim down sight in crysis

Thread Starter
I am finally playing crysis (I know, very late to the party) and the aim down sight being toggle instead of hold really annoys me.

I've looked up a way to change this online but didn't see any way. Is there a way to change this? If so, how?

Thanks

I just checked the menu, doesn't look like there is a way to change it. Funny thing is I was playing this earlier today and was thinking about how annoying it is. I guess we just have to get used to it.

I just confirmed that there is an option called Toggle Zoom under the game options menu, just choose No for that, and you should be good to go. if you dont see these options maybe you should consider updating the game to v1.9.

if you would like a plus, DX11 and texture pack would make your gameplay alot better i would say, enjoy thumb.gif

I am not currently at my computer, so I can't check to see if my suspicion is correct. However, because you mentioned DX11, I believe you are referring to Crysis 2. I am referring to Crysis 1.

If this option is actually in the original and I just missed it, thanks for your help. If not, any other ways to change this option from a config file or something would be appreciated.

Ya I think he is referring to Crysis 2, I just double checked and I don't see that option.

I like toggle ADS. I have the opposite problem in Metro 2033, where it's press-and-hold only.

Anyway, I checked Warhead, and I don't see any option for disabling toggle ADS. I guess you're out of luck. You'll soon get used to it, like I've got used to no toggle in Metro.
