I'd say Gigabyte 7970 OC or PowerColor 7970. Gigabyte for better temperature and PowerColor for cheaper and maybe WC down the road.

Right, shows CFX results vs SLI, also shows that the 7950 CFX is neck and neck with 680 sli most of the time.
More importantly at a much much cheaper price point.

Probably a 7970 as they are cheaper and with this generation it is so close it really starts to come down to which card is better for the game. Also from what I have seen for crossfire reference is better as they dump all the heat out the back of the card and not into the case, + easy to find water blocks for ref.
